Just walking around a supermarket pushing a cart in front of you can be a bit overwhelming when on a diet. It’s like every minute you are trying to resist stuffing everything that’s loaded with fat into your cart, but there are tricks to making the process a lot smoother and keeping your diets alive.
When going to the supermarket while on a strict diet it is good to have a concrete grocery list in your hand and follow it item by item. If you have a plan to buy certain items beforehand and only those items you will have a better chance to resist the box of chocolate chip cookies that are placed right across the aisle from the cans of tuna you are buying. It’s also helpful to put a couple of notes of the top and bottom of the list reminding yourself not to buy your favorite tub of ice cream. Shopping in a store filled with temptations can be hard, but it can be made easier by planning ahead.
